Trailer And Shorts: Tadeo Jones, The Animated Indiana Jones, Is Getting His Own Feature Film

This trailer for the first Tadeo Jones feature, Tad the Lost Explorer, shows that he’s still very much the 99 cent store version of Indiana Jones, despite the boost in budget.

But I do mean that in the best possible sense.

Looks like a lot of fun, with some great designs and good animation. As Cartoon Brew acknowledge, America might not stay ahead of the pack in CG movies forever. It looks to me like the gap is narrowing, dramatically (and, at the same time, Japan continues to streak ahead in hand drawn work…)

And now, with a hat tip to Animatie, here are the two Tadeo Jones shorts that introduced his particular brand of adventuring. Both of these and the feature were directed by Enrique Gato.
