Scarlett Johansson Says She Won’t Be In Iron Man 3

Just a small update, but one you may be interested in. I’m guessing so, from the interest this character typically generates…

A few weeks back, a casting website said that Scarlett Johansson will be appearing in Iron Man 3, reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow.

According to Ms. Johansson herself, this isn’t the case.

But, for what it’s worth, she has spoken to Marvel about a Black Widow stand alone film. Whether or not they’ll ever make it, or even talk about it again, remains to be seen.

Here’s a video of Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett chatting to Screen Rant‘s Roth Cornet. The Iron Man comment isn’t featured in the video, but was apparently something she said beforehand.

Avengers Assemble opens across the UK tomorrow.
