Russell T Davies' Aliens Vs. Wizards Is No More... Get Ready For Wizards Vs. Aliens

Torchwood creator and sometime Who supremo Russell T Davies was a guest on BBC Radio Wales’ Roy Noble show this Tuesday to talk about The Wales Drama Award, a £10,000 prize and development promise for the best script of any kind submitted by a Welsh writer. Sounds like a great scheme.

Of course, conversation did soon turn to Davies’ TV projects and he offered a brief update on the upcoming CBBC show that will reunite him with many of his Sarah Jane Adventures colleagues:

Coming up now we’ve got a children’s drama that we’re making out these new Roath Lock Studios called Wizards vs. Aliens. it was called Aliens vs. Wizards until a lawyer stepped in, but there we go. By Easter it will probably be called Chickens vs. Rabbits or something… It’s a great big, fun series for Children’s BBC that will be out in the Autumn.

And which will feature a lawyer as a villain, sooner or later, judging from the tone of Davies’ voice.
