An Exclusive Clip From Act Of Valour To Demonstrate Its Call Of Duty-ness
What struck me most about Act of Valour is how closely it resembles the experience of watching someone else play a warzone-based first-person shooter like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
This is mainly down to the way it was shot, with an emphasis during action scenes on a gun-mounted camera angle that forces you into the shoes of one of the soldiers. Here's an example of that.
I wrote a full review of the film. Those of you who remember that review may also remember that it wasn't really my cup of tea.
