Gary Trudeau’s Doonesbury, this week satirising certain American state legislation for invasive “shaming” procedures that aren’t medically necessary before abortions, has been removed from a number of publications. For some it was the topic. But for others it was the language. Certainly, if this was sitting next to Marmaduke and Beetle Bailey, there may be some questions asked about a certain word that recently got a certain Rush Limbaugh into trouble…
