Now Is The Time To Buy The Godfather Trilogy On Blu-Ray

Restored with great consideration and care, the Blu-ray box set of the Francis Ford Coppola’s three Godfather films was something of a benchmark set. Not even the inclusion of the distinctly unpopular third instalment curbed the plaudits (actually, these Blu-rays came out in 2008 when there was a revisionist swing back in the third film’s favour, not that I could quite understand why).

As well as having the brilliant audio and video quality to recommend it, this set also boasts commentary track on each picture and several extra video supplements, plenty of which were new and not simply ported over from the prior DVDs.

Of course, you’d generally have to pay for such a spread, and the RRP on these discs sits at over $60. Today, though, Amazon have it listed as their Gold Box deal for today and are only charging $25.00.

That’s only $12.50 per film. Ahem.

Yes. I know. I did it on purpose.

The disc are region free, so importers can rest assured. Though if you would rather buy in the UK, our Amazon price is set at £21.99 right now.
