Drawn And Quarterly To Publish Angoulême Winner – Guy Delisle's Jerusalem

Drawn And Quarterly To Publish Angoulême Winner – Guy Delisle's JerusalemRecently, Bleeding Cool reported that the Canadian graphic novel Jerusalem: Chronicles from the Holy City by Guy Delisle had won the Faux D'Or at Angouleme, for the best album of the year. Of course it was in French, and I have a hard enough time getting through the original Tintin. Well, in May Drawn & Quarterly will be putting it out in a language with a little more Viking influence, English.

The graphic novel explores modern Jerusalem as an axis of culture and conflict between the Christian, Jewish and Muslim people, and their competing claims to the city… and their home. With no easy answers…

You can find it in the upcoming February Diamond Previews.
