Apocalyptic Comedy Trailer With Steve Carell And Keira Knightley, Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World

I thought this spike in the zeitgeist should have peaked around the millennium, but do you have time for another end of the world movie? How about a funny one?

Seeking a Friend For the End of the World has been written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, previously the scriptwriter on Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist… which… well, I can’t really comment definitively on that picture because I’ve not seen the whole thing – though that’s kind of a review in its own right, perhaps.

This trailer looks really rather good, anyway, and the cast are more or less great, with Steve Carell and Keira Knightley receiving support from Melanie Lynskey, Patton Oswalt and Rob Cordry.

Right, I’m off to Netflix to give Nick and Norah another chance.

Yahoo got to unveil the above poster and trailer.
