Extended Trailer For Awake – A New TV Show That Looks, Frankly, Brilliant

Kyle Killen’s Awake finally has a premiere date of Thursday March 1st, when it will be airing on NBC at 10pm. I’ve got a feeling that’s not the easiest slot, so I hope folks make an effort to catch it.

Killen wrote the script for The Beaver, which I still consider one of the finest screenplays I’ve ever read, no matter how compromised some elements of the completed film may have been. He also created Lone Star, an abruptly terminated TV show from a couple of years back. He’s certainly a very accomplished writer.

And the premise he’s come up with this time is a real doozy. If you haven’t been tracking the show so far, let this new trailer introduce the set-up to you:

Yep – it’s that intriguing and it’s got Jason Isaacs in it? What else could you possibly have to do at 10pm on a Thursday that beats that>
