George Perez And The Death Of Lana Lang That Wasn't

Little Bleeder Patrick Stephens, reporting from the floor of Wizard World New Orleans this past weekend reports straight from the horse's mouth, George Perez's lost plans for his currently concluding Superman run.

Including one that would have Superman deal with the death of Lana Lang, his schoolboy sweetheart who had previously been unseen in the New 52.

Dead before we even knew her? Will Morrison and Giffen continue that thread? Or do they have different plans?

UPDATE: Patrick also wants to add "based on what Perez said to me and at his and Jesus Merino's panel, his leaving the book had nothing to do with this and any other stories he didn't get to tell, it was all due to DC's working out the kinks scheduling-wise in regards to the New 52, same as a lot of the books."
