Disney’s next feature length toon is Wreck-It Ralph, a video game mash-up. The title character plays a somewhat Donkey Kong-ish role in his own game, but he’s not too happy with that life, and would like to hop over to something more his style.
Much game-to-game hopping ensues – presumably with attendant hilarity, adventure and, well, tie-in video game spin offs.
Here’s the first look at Ralph from Chronique Disney (via Focus on Animation). He’s being voiced by John C. Reilly in the movie.

Couldn’t find a bigger one, I’m afraid, but there’s the same thing again, enlarged until its all pixel-y. Somehow seems more acceptable in this case that would normally be so.
Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer and Sarah Silverman also have roles, with the latter pair playing Fix-It Felix and Vanellope von Schweetz.
Wreck-It Ralph is due in US cinemas this November. I fear that means a release in the UK next February, though we may get lucky this time.
