First Trailer And Funny Clip For Todd Solondz' Dark Horse

The first trailer for Todd SolondzDark Horse has arrived, but before we get to that, let’s look at a quick clip from the film. It’s incredibly quiet, but I can hear it through my headphones just fine, so can yourself up.

Yeah, funny.

I’ve seen that clip compared to a “one panel cartoon”, but the timing necessary means it would probably want to be a three panel cartoon, just with three identical illustrations, and a speech bubble on the third.

Set your volume controls back to normal for the trailer – or, if you’re learning to read Polish, you could turn it way down and practice on the subtitles.

Love the American Idol gag. So well performed. That actor is Jordan Gelber, and this could be a break out moment for him.

I’ve read a lot of odd criticisms of this film – mainly from people who find it similar to Solondz’ other pictures and, for some reason, think that’s a bad thing, as though movies are always digested in production order and there’s some inherent responsibility to keep shifting style and genre. Personally, I think it looks most interesting, and I can wait to catch up with it.

Thanks to Little Bleeder K. Enwright for the trailer link.
