Breaking Dawn Is Putting People In The Hospital

Bleeding Cool would like to extend our sympathy to Brandon Gephart, a California man who was put into the hospital by the climactic scenes of Breaking Dawn.
According to Gephart’s girlfriend, speaking to CBS Sacramento (via The Hollywood Reporter), the victim was left convulsing and snorting* by the sequence in which Bella goes into labour. Luckily, his girlfriend says that Gephart has done his due boyfriend diligence and won’t be expected to see any more Twilight movies with her.
The CBS report says that several other individuals have been hospitalised by the same sequence, but don’t name names. Nonetheless, we’re sorry for all of you too.
What we have here, of course, is a strobing light display, causing photosensitive epilepsy. Famously an episode of Pokemon triggered bouts in children during the 90s. While TVs have been tweaked in the meantime, to minimise risk, cinema auditoria can still trigger the problem. I regularly see warning signs at my local cinemas.
So, there you go, Breaking Dawn needs to come with a health warning. Did I miss Jay Leno’s monologue joke on this already?
*Actually, I think I snorted too.
