Dredd Pics And Video – Fast Moving Action (Ahem) And MegaCity Glimpses

A number of behind-the-scenes pictures and videos from the shoot of Dredd, Pete Travis and Alex Garland‘s Judge Dredd movie, have been posted online. They come from the collection of Lone Wolf Grips, the company providing all of the camera rigs, tracks and grip services for the film.

These two videos show the camera rigs in very fast moving action. Unfortunately, there’s nary a Judge or Mega Citizen to be seen.

And these set pictures reveal more grip equipment. For some people this stuff is really, really exciting. For me, it’s moderately engaging. Perhaps you’ll find intrigue in some of the details of production design too.

We were pointed towards these by Little Bleeder Emperor, who noted:

Not too fascinating but what they do show is the amount of post-production work they are doing and why the sneaky set photos probably aren’t doing the film justice (or Justice).

Dredd is due for release about a year from now. Sit tight.
