Wednesday Trending Topics: Famous First AppearancesGreen Lantern's first appearance was in All-American Comics #16.  Or you could plausibly say it was  Showcase #22, or even Green Lantern #59, or Green Lantern #87, or a few other books.  BC forumers pointed out that recent DC backmatter has been taking the New 52-centric approach mentioned in today's Green Lantern post consistently with other characters as well, and a few further noted that reboots typically bring with them… a fresh directory structure.  Still, it's a little jarring to see that info, even in that context, without some sort of backlink to what has gone before.
