Aardman’s Batman Toon And Lots Of Other Odd Stuff In This DC Nation Trailer

Starting next year there’s to be a DC Nation block on Cartoon Network, a big fat wodge of comic-strip derived shows from the predictable to the truly idiosyncratic. We reported on it in the aftermath of MIP, where many of the shows were first officially announced.

As well as the more traditional things, like Green Lantern and Young Justice, this new trailer also digs into Lego Batman toons and plasticine Batman too. In fact, there’s even some clips in this trailer I can’t even start to understand.

At most that featured a half second of something that might have been Lauren Faust’s Super Best Friends Forever, a Batgirl, Supergirl and Wonder Girl team up that sounds tailor-made for the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic target Audience.

By which I mean me. Well, at least in respect of the early episodes. It might have gone downhill since for all I know.

Now, I’m off to obsess over the Aardman Batman until I fall asleep. It looks amazing. Mad, but fascinating.
