QuakeWatch: In February, Bleeding Cool told you about Comics Compulsion, the comics store in Christchurch, New Zealand, that was at the epicentre of the earthquake there. The area was declared unsafe, and the shop was forced to operate from the back of Penelope Place.
The following Saturday will see them relaunch the store properly in a new location, get the barbeque out, and launch Free Sausage Day with your comics, and a giveaway or two as well.

The first time we passed by we saw Jon Favreau crossing the street to the Hard Rock Cafe, we saw Colin Hanks arriving for an event the same night, the next day we randomly saw Anna Torv taking a smoke break and Glee’s Harry Shum Jr getting into a waiting car. One day we even saw The Avengers’ Clark Gregg signing endless autographs for fans.

I had done a Supergirl cover featuring some Teen Titans at one point (inked by Richard Friend, colored by Guy Major). It was never used, unfortunately! I wish I could say it was a fluke, but in fact, I drew four Supergirl covers in that year’s time that won’t ever be published.
