It's probably the comics history buff in me talking, but I'd like to think Kevin Feige and co. are being really clever here, and this isn't just some odd coincidence:  Two Marvel "mystery" movies, being released close together in 2014?  I don't care what's in the pipeline and what's already got a draft script, that adds up to something — and it isn't Ant Man.

Human Torch and Sub-Mariner, that's my guess.

The New DCU Rumours That Were Nothing More

Yesterday on 4chan/co, an anonymous individual claiming to be a DC insider spilt a lot of information. From an ongoing Grant Morrison/Alex Ross New Gods series, to exactly when Barbara Gordon was Batgirl. That Bryan Q Miller was lined up to write Teen Titans from issue fie. That the Blue Beetle, original Question, and Ray Palmer Atom had been deleted from continuity. They took questions and answers and the back and forths went on for an age. Lots of new stuff, mixed with information I was already aware of because, well, I'd reported it. The James Robinson/Nicola Scott JSA series for example or the Grant Morrison/Cameron Stewart Multiversity book.

Fantastic Four #600 Might Possibly Be Published In November Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

Marvel's longest running comic Fantastic Four concluded with issue #588 last year, twelve issues short of the #600 issue, and restarted with FF #1. Well, issues 10 and 11 are shipping in October.

DC Relaunch: Astro City #1 – A Monthly Title

Kurt Busiek and Brent Anderson's Astro City will relaunch with a new #1 and from then on be a monthly title, UK retailers were told today at the DC Retailer Conference in London, UK. It has been decided not to relaunch the series too close to the New 52 Launch as it, naturally, has its own self contained continuity.
