Henry Cavill Says Almost Nothing About The Man Of Steel, But It’s The Best On Offer

Asked by chair Geoff Boucher at the Comic-Con Immortals panel, just over in Hall H, star Henry Cavill said he couldn’t say much about Man of Steel, in which he’ll be playing Superman. The best he could give us was the promise:

It’s one of the best scripts I’ve ever read.

Now, I don’t have a list of the scripts he’s read, but we can look up the films he’s been in.

He was in Stardust… but… er… yeah. That would probably be the best screenplay amongst his portfolio of feature films.

I’m hoping Cavill has been getting lots of great screenplays in the mail and just hasn’t been able to do them due to “scheduling conflicts.”

Those hoping for some kind of Man of Steel update from Comic-Con this year, however slight, will have to settle for that. That tiny comment is literally the best bit of info on the film I’ve come across all Con long.
