Some 3D Amazing Spider-Man footage has just played in Hall H, revealing Curt Connors and his transformation into The Lizard.
A few shots at the end revealed his creature look in full detail. My impressions: great FX. Humanoid face, no long lizard snout. Big. Muscly. Probably about ten feet tall. Body not quite symmetrical. Long lizardy fingers. Mouth upturned a bit like a smile. Think scaly hulk with human-meets-reptile features.
And that’s before he transformed. Boom boom. Seriously?
It looks pretty damn good. Not everything about the footage made as much sense to me, but overall, it is obviously a handsomely shot film with great 3D and charismatic leads that seem to have real chemistry.
