Scott Lobdell Talks Michael Turner's Homecoming

Scott Lobdell Talks Michael Turner's Homecoming
Yesterday, Bleeding Cool ran a piece on a new comic, Homecoming, by Scott Lobdell based on a Michael Turner concept for Aspen. Expect full details to be announced at San Diego Comic Con, but I did get to chat to Scott about the series. He told Bleeding Cool

Ten years after her abduction by aliens, a seventeen year old girl suddenly returns to Earth.   To say that she has changed would be an understatement!

HOMECOMING is the story of a young woman who spent over half her life on an alien planet and comes home to a world she doesn't necessarily understand… as if being a teenager wasn't already hard enough.

Soon after making new friends, they too are pulled into the front line of intergalactic conflict that threatens both worlds.

I fell in love with HOMECOMING the instant that I saw the art on a wall at Aspen!  Elbows went flying left and right as I demanded to be involved with getting this long gestating property to the stands and into the hands of Mike Turner fans around the world.  Then, when demanding accomplished nothing, I asked politely for the opportunity to work on the project.  Finally, when demanding and asking politely didn't work… I started a begging campaign.    And here we are!

HOMECOMING was originally created by Mike with his longtime friends and sometime collaborators, David Wohl and Brad Foxhoven.  David and Brad have been very supportive of my attempts to connect a few dots and flesh out some of the core concepts of their original ideas!
