The Characters Of Torchwood: Miracle Day Want To Introduce Themselves, And There’s Something Funny About Jack

Starz have filmed several of the stars of their Nu Torchwood talking to camera, in character, and setting up (again and again and again) the basic premise of Miracle Day. There’s the odd bit of new footage in here, though nothing you’d likely call a spoiler.

From the top, then, Captain Jack:

Thanks to Doctor Who TV for compiling all of the clips altogether.

Meanwhile, Russell T. Davies has told AOL TV that Captain Jack will undergo a serious change for the new series:

Well he’s literally, physically different. He’s mortal. Everyone else is immortal, he’s mortal. It’s the biggest switch in the show, which we did in order to give us new insights into Jack… And it’s very hard to prove he’s mortal without killing him. So that’s going to be interesting. Some clever things to come.

I’d hope so. Sounds like fun.
