Warner Bros have mucked about for a decade spending millions of dollars on a Justice League movie and have nothing to show for it. But Exquisite has spend a couple of weeks if that with a budget that wouldn’t pay for Warner Bros’ coffee for that month and have created a Justice League film, featuring all the main characters in a porn parody that keeps them free from any legal issue.
This is a new way for film makers to revisit their childhood icons in a very adult way, but in doing so create something closer to a homage and with far more love than anything the major studios can manage. I’ve been told that the addition of a “No Sex” option for the Batman XXX and Superman XXX DVDs increased sales by over a fifth. There is a large enough audience for this kind of thing, and if the major studios won’t address it, then it will find a way out through porn.
