Trailer For David Mackenzie’s Rock Festival Romance You Instead

Both of David Mackenzie’s upcoming pictures are, at heart, romances. Perfect Sense, with Eva Green and Ewan McGregor, is a kind of sci-fi picture, while You Instead (formerly In the Park) is a musical comedy set at the T In The Park festival. This is by far the cheaper, leaner film of the two, shot in just a few days of intensive location work, and full of energy absorbed straight from the real festival.

The first trailer for the film was posted online today.

I’m up for anything with Luke Treadaway in it, and Natalia Tena, as Ben’s very surprising, candid and now 50% redacted interview with her revealed, doesn’t believe in doing anything by half.

That’s the official trailer, by the way, but it’s still watermarked. Tsk.
