New Top Cat 3D Movie Comes Out Of Nowhere

Did you know there was a big screen version of Hanna Barbera’s Top Cat in the works? That it was going to be in 3D? That it is due for release in September?

A Little Bleeder supplied me with these two posters for the film. If you look, you can see that the movie will be a co-production between Anima Estudios and Illusion Studios, though neither of those companies appear to have made any reference to it on their websites.

Mysterious.

Now, of course, this Argentian production will be in Spanish*, but if this doesn’t get a dubbed release in the US, and even the UK, I’ll eat the contents of Top Cat’s trashcan. And that’s not a euphemism.

It’s been a long time, Benny the Ball, and I’ve genuinely missed you.
