Javier Bardem Offered Major Role In Next Bond Movie

Put a tick in the right hand column, please, because Javier Bardem has been offered “a starring role” in the next James Bond picture. This might, of course, clash with The Dark Tower, which he has also been offered, and therefore prevent him from taking the lead role there – so, I guess that’s a tick in the left hand column too. We’re back where we started.

Deadline are assuming that this role would see Bardem as the movie’s chief villain. Seems like a reasonable guess – try thinking of a second billed, male actor in a Bond movie who isn’t playing the bad guy.
