Right away I’m reminded of Boo U, an in-development Dreamworks toon about a ghost who’s not so hot at haunting and gets sent back to school for retraining. Seth Rogen is providing one of the lead voices, though it wasn’t clear if he was the rubbish ghost or not.
Funnily enough, whenever something about Boo U has been reported, I’ve been put in mind of the original Monsters Inc.
Now, Grandmath is pretty reputable and says he has a plausible source on this – a particular and esoteric publication* which both Seppe and myself are looking to track down. For now, chalk it up as a rumour, but an intriguing one at that.
*Just a distributor’s brochure given to cinemas. I’ve gotten hold of plenty of these in the past, so I’m looking for that one too.
