Images From The Set Of The Almighty Thor Feature The Thunder God And Loki

Last night, I was telling you about the other Thor movie, and now here’s some shots of the Thunder God and Loki, in costume and on location. Consider this a nice peek inside the moviemaking world of Asylum, as well as a nice comparison piece to Marvel Studios’ rather more expensive, expansive approach. All of the empty space in frame just adds to the feeling, I think.

Thanks to Little Bleeder Avner for these snaps. They’ve got me right in the mood for the local panto. He’s behind you! Etc.
And, you know, I’m hoping Grieco has a lot of fun with this. He could really chew things up in a spectacular way if he wanted to. There’s actually no reason these Asylum movies couldn’t be pitched with the ambition of a Jack Hill/Larry Cohen/Brian Trenchard Smith picture. Well, no reason other than laziness and fear.
