The score to True Grit, one of the year’s most keenly anticipated remaining films, has been made available for free streaming online by Paramount Pictures. The plan is to have Academy members acquaint themselves with the music the better to fall head over heels with it and want to give gold statues to the composer responsible, the aforementioned, and very wuvvly, Carter Burwell*.
Since I started listening, I’ve loved every second; I’m sure it will be better still in context.
This soundtrack is released on December 21st in the US, but not until next year in the UK. Swizzle. I could really use it on my iPhone just about now.
