I’m Not Allowed To Review The Green Hornet Movie, But I Can Review These Green Hornet Images
I’m under a strict embargo that prevents me from discussing Michel Gondry’s Green Hornet – ever. Well, the 2D version at least. When I get to see the 3D version I’ll be singing like a canary.
In the meantime, here are a series of new stills and behind the scenes images, with some commentary from me. Commentary specifically on these images. Not the film at all. No.

Nice. Stylish lighting that doesn’t get up in your face.

Stylish lighting that gets even less up in your face.

Looks like there might be some nice action staging and pleasantly old school stunt-unit work.

Jay Chou’s martial arts skills look pretty strong, don’t you think?

Christoph Waltz sure seems to be having fun as the villain. He looks an interesting enough character, don’t you think?

Yeah, he’s definitely enjoying himself. Seems to be very well cast.

Just look in Michel Gondry’s eyes. See the genius whirring away back there? Looks like he’s just about to direct this scene with a pitch-perfect grasp on tone. Or maybe he’ll do something innovative and exciting that just drips “Gondry”.

See above but double it.
