Full Tintin Images Revealed – Are They As Scary As I Had Feared?

As I guessed, the first Tintin image has been earmarked for the cover of Empire’s new issue. They’ve just popped a digital version online, so let’s have a good scry.

He actually looks an awful lot less scary than I had imagined (even feared) so kudos to the wonderful wizards of Weta. My next worry is what on Earth Jamie Bell’s voice is going to sound like when it’s coming out of that mouth.

The cover headlines promise that the magazine itself will contain our “first look at all the characters”. I hope Empire put the images online before some sly scanner does. So far, there’s also a shot of Captain Haddock, below, and another of Haddock and Tintin lost at sea, which you can see at Empire’s site.

Tintin is still over a year away. It could be some time before we see a trailer.
