Snyder’s Superman To Be 35-40
Once upon a time, there was going to be a Justice League movie, and it was going to be directed by George Miller. It all seems like a dream now, and it’s fading to fog, but the facts remain in the record even while the feeling is gone. Miller’s Batman was to be played by Armie Hammer, now gaining column inches and applause as The Social Network‘s Winklevoss twins.
In a new interview with Vulture, Hammer is told that he’s on a lot of people’s dream-casting wish list for the new Superman. His response? Very interesting:
You know what’s funny? I did talk to my people recently about that for the first time, and I think they’re going a little older with Superman. I hear they’re going 35, 40.
Then Vulture say what everybody is thinking:
Really? Wow, Jon Hamm will be excited.

So, it’s a film about the early years of Superman but they’re casting 35-40 year olds? Something doesn’t quite fit… Perhaps they have a Superman who stalls the donning of his costume for a very long time? Perhaps this new Superman ages quickly? Perhaps somebody has gotten something wrong?
It’s wait and see time again.
