Disney Pixar have unveiled some new Cars 2 concept art alongside the first teaser trailer for the film. They’ve called the trailer a logo reveal, but that’s not fair – for one thing, we’ve seen the logo before, and for another, there are characters in this clip, and dialogue. It’s no more a logo reveal than, say, that Trainspotting trailer with Renton on the tracks.
I imagine the teaser is being released now because it’s on the Toy Story 3 Blu-ray that some folks are beginning to get their hands on. Or maybe not. Speculation.
Cars 2 will be with us in the summer. Let’s see if it can displace the original Cars from its place in Rich’s heart. Yep – Cars is Rich’s favourite Pixar film.
