For most of you, even if you're buying the same about of books, you'll be spending less. So why not pick up one of two of the new titles? Congorilla Vs Starman? Steel? The New York Five?

And yes, for many of you, you will be getting less content for your money in terms of page counts. But you will also be able to collect your chosen continuities for less. And for some that's much more important.

And one other stat for the new year. How many hours will British readers gain on East Coast shops buying the latest American comics, meaning you'll all have to avoid Twitter for spoilers? 5…

And we also wait – to find out exactly what Marvel have done… hmmm, aren't their solicitations usually up by now?
