How You Can Book NOW For TRON Night – 23 Minutes Of The Film For Free

Disney have announced TRON Night, their version of last year’s Avatar Day preview event. On October 28th they’ll be screening 23 minutes of TRON Legacy, for free, in cinemas around the world. Here are details of screenings in the US, Canada and the UK – and the UK sittings are booking now, so keep reading for instructions on how to get your tickets.

For the US, tickets will be given away from this Tuesday, the 12th October. If you visit the official site from 1pm EST you’ll be able to click through and claim your seats. You can currently just check which states the screenings will take place in, but there’s not yet a list of cinemas.

In the UK, however, tickets are booking now. The press release says:

TRON Night: 3D and IMAX Experience, a special event on October 28, 2010, that will give audiences worldwide the first opportunity to step onto the Grid and into the cutting-edge, 3D world of Walt Disney Pictures’ high-tech adventure TRON: Legacy, during an exciting 20-plus-minute sneak peek of the highly anticipated film, sponsored by Asus Computer International.

To get your tickets, you need to visit the Disney Screenings booking site and enter the password legacy. If you aren’t yet a member of Disney Screenings you’ll have to register, but it won’t take long and you can get up to 4 tickets per account, so take your three nearest and dearest.

Here’s the full list of cinemas across the UK that are taking part, and the timing of their sessions. I imagine these will be nicely filled up and soon.
