Aardman Making Live Action/CG Raving Rabbids Show

According to a new job listing that’s gone out among the animation community today (and ended up on my desk), Aardman Animation are working on a TV show starring Ubisoft’s videogame irritants, the Raving Rabbids. It’s listed as “a live action / CGI mix” and, from the nature of the job being offered, it’s clearly to be an in-house production all the way through.

To get some idea of what these Rabbids are you might want to visit a minisite developed to promote their upcoming console game, Raving Rabbids Travel in Time. The site was actually developed at Aardman, and I’d therefore imagine they most likely also produced the short promo movie that is, in effect, the only thing on the site.
