Tommy Wiseau Promises 3D Re-Release For The Room

The Room is this generation’s Plan 9 From Outer Space, the film branded so “so-bad-it’s-good” that it’s great. Unsurprisingly, director/writer/star/perpetrator Tommy Wiseau wants to milk his current cult status for all it’s worth. That’s why he’s now promising a Blu-ray release for the movie later this year… and a 3D conversion next year.
James Nguyen is currently working on a 3D follow up to Birdemic. I smell a double-dimensioned double bill rolling it’s way towards hipster cinemas even as I type.
In his interview with Movieline, Wiseau also reveals that his new short, The House That Drips Blood on Alex is:
… horror-slash-comedy. It could be also vampire, because Alex, the main character, may become vampire but I’m not sure yet. I think that may be questionable.
Bear in mind that the film he’s discussing is finished, and has even premiered at Comic-Con. If he doesn’t know now, he never will.
He never will.
