Currently shooting in Melbourne is The Killer Elite, Gary McKendry’s debut feature film. It’s an adaptation of Ranulph Fiennes The Feather Men, a spy thriller with a few similarities to the plot of The Watchmen, in fact. Only a few, but they’re there.
The Brisbane Times have published a series of pictures of De Niro on set, of which the two that follow and the one at the head of the post are my three favourites.
The guy with the walkie talkie is not part of the plot but is instead part of the crew. I think the spies in the film are going to be a tad more discreet.
