The world premiere of Steve Lawson’s fangs-n-gangs picture Dead Cert is going to take place on the opening night of Frightfest. You may recall that I selected it as one of my ten top ‘hot tickets’ at this year’s festival.
I’ve now had it confirmed who will be in attendance at the premiere, to meet and greet the audience and take part in a little Q&A. You can expect at least Craig Fairbrass, Lisa McAllister, Billy Murray, Dexter Fletcher, Jennifer Matter and Steven Berkoff, alongside director Steve Lawson, Executive Producer Martin Kemp and Producer Jonathan Sothcott.
And yes, that is the same Martin Kemp that was in Spandau Ballet.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Danny Dyer show up because, while it’s supposed to be a kind of secret, it’s getting quite well known now that he’s in the film.
The premiere will take place on August 27th, exactly one calendar month ahead of the DVD release. That makes this following DVD artwork very early indeed, then.
