Swipe File: The Gift Vs Akira

Take one short film by Carl Rinsch, The Gift. Rinsch is a protegee of Ridley Scott and The Gift cleaned up at Cannes with Rinsch in a bidding war over his first feature project.

And take another classic animated movie, Akira, on its ways to be live-actioned any day now.
