Jeph Loeb Named Marvel VP Head Of Television
Jeph Loeb is probably best known right now by comic fans for his controversial run on Hulk and the Ultimate universe for Marvel Comics.
But his experience is far wider. He co-wrote the movie Teenwolf, as will as writing episodes of Smallville and writing and producer on Heroes and Lost.
And his comics career include such higlights as Batman: The Long Halloween, Superman For All Seasons and Superman/Batman.
When his name disappeared from upcoming issues of Hulk, classified at the time of solicitation until Bleeding Cool got their hands on it, some people speculated that maybe Jeph Loeb had been snatched by DC Comics as part of an aggressive move to increase their roster of exclusive talent and bring Loeb back into the fold.
Not a bit of it. Jeph Loeb will instead head up Marvel’s television projects, as a Vice President of the company.
Which is big, bold, brash and… basically everything Jeph Loeb is known for.
