The Dabel Bros was formed by Ernst Dabel, Les Dabel, David Dabel and Pascal Dabel. But four years ago the latter two left to pursue their own non-publishing careers.
Clearly that didn’t work out, now David and Pascal have set up their own publishing house, Sea Lion Books, with a line, with a mic of graphic novels and fantasy novels. With Paul Coelho, LA Banks and Richelle Meade on board, with titles lined up from November, including a graphic novel of Coelho’s The Alchemist, alongside Harper One, a new novel by Banks that’s part of a new series, Shadow Walker and Meade’s new Dark Swan series of graphic novels.
As employees, they’ve also grabbed Derek Ruiz who used to be Marketing Communications Manager for the Dabel Bros nd will be adapting The Alchemist, and Clarice Levin from Bryon Press.
