Shhh.. Don’t Mention The Fantômas

Shhh! No, just shhh! Don’t say a thing! Jean Reno is co-starring alongside Vincent Cassell’s Fantômas in the upcoming movie adaptation of the titular French pulp hero/villain, who appeared in novels, plays, movies, a stack of comics… and is probably best known to the readers of this site as the inspiration for Grant Morrison’s Fantomex in New X-Men.

Anyway, there’s a movie planned for next year from director Christophe Gans. But Jean Reno (Leon) doesn’t want to jinx it.

For the moment we do not have a script so it is only a project. They said it’s going to be in 3D so nothing is signed. So it is bad luck if we talk a lot of that.

So, you know? Shhh…
