Starz Grab Torchwood From BBC America – And Make It Themselves!

This feels like a first all round. The fourth season of Doctor who spinoff series Torchwood being picked up by the Starz network in the USA, co-produced by them and debuting ahead of us Brits.

And also probably not that much filming in Wales.

Russell T Davies will be showrunner for the new ten episode season, with Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner producing. John Barrowman and Eve Myles will reprise their roles in the show, probably with a bunch of American characters to babysit.

Well, this should give something else for Russell to do while he continues writing the Doctor Who movie.
