No New Comics In The UK. May Not Be For Some Time.
Diamond UK have confirmed to retailers that this week's comics didn't make it to the UK before volcanic ash in the atmosphere grounded all flights. They write;
Please note that due to current Air Traffic circumstances we have not received any new Diamond UK product from the US for release this week.
There's also a warning that retailers might not be getting these and fuiture deliveries for quite some time.
When restrictions are lifted, it will be passenger flights that take priority and freight flights will still be subject to further delays.
It is very unlikely that we will receive this product soon, and we regret to advise you that there will be no new product processed or supplied for this week.
Come on Marvel, come on DC, send the rescue boats for your comic-deprived colonial cousins!
