I’m told that yesterday evening a number of Wildstorm people were taken out for Big Meaningful Talks About The Future by members of The High Five and associates.
This could mean anything of course. The elevation of Wildstorm within DC company structure to a position of dominance. The company being razed to the ground. DC moving in. DC not moving in but other people moving in. Wildstorm changing their name to Surf’N'Turf Bar’N'Grill. Right now it’s all gossip, although the fact that three year lease has recently been signed on the La Jolla complex that Wildstorm operates from has allayed some fears.
But this has led to certain comic book creators chainsmoking and twiddling thumbs while waiting to find out What It All Means for current and upcoming projects… and asking me what I know. Sorry guys, I know nothing.
