Both Premium Hollywood and Aint It Cool has announced that creator of Journeyman, Kevin Falls, has written the pilot script to Powers, based on the Bendis/Oeming comic (though, naturally, they both forget the Oeming bit) and it is in the hands of FX executives. Michael Dinner is slated to direct the project.
Powers is a creator owned comic book about an ex-superhero working as a police detective, dealing with a number of super-crimes, that slowly reveals a much greater conspiracy (and monkey sex).
Originally published by Image Comics, it moved to Marvel Comics’ Icon imprint a few years ago.
