Tuesday Morning – Chewing On Misney

misneyMisneyWatch: Okay, not sure what Marvel or Disney will make of the $15.99 copyright/trademark-busting print but still, ain't that pretty? Pretty satire. Satire! And not anything else , okay lawyers?

LeastSurprisingNewsWatch: Matt Fraction and John Romita Jr take on Thor.

MarvelWatch: Marvel decide their best comics are worth $1. Yet Hulk is $3.99. Go figure.

kodyLocalWatch: Kody Chamberlain gets profiled by his local press. And the local photographer decided to take a frame or two… and we learn how Kody is partially responsible for Chew.

Chamberlain has even helped mentor others looking to make it in the comic-book business.

This includes the person located directly across the hallway from him.

Chamberlain said Rob Guillory, who recently released "Chew" through Image Comics, met him when he came to write a story for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's student paper.

"I didn't even tell him about my own art in the beginning," Guillory said. "When I asked him to look at some of my stuff he did and he liked it."

See? Chew was aaaaallllll Kody Chamberlain's fault!
