Thanks Given #33 – Spandex Second Issue

Spandex, the all-gay superhero team comic book that has caused so much media fuss has been a bit of a monster hit for creator Martin Eden. His O Men superhero mini-comics have been around for decades, and I used to enjoy reading them whenever I'd find a shop that stocked them,  but Spandex, by simply adding the word "gay" to "superhero" and "tabloid press" has caused quite a wonderful media storm that Mark Millar would be proud of.

And, just for Bleeding Cool readers, here's an image from the second issue, never before seen!

Spandex - Neon
Martin gives me his blurb:

The crazy world of Spandex continues in Issue Two, as the Spandex team encounter Neon – the world's favourite gay, fluorescent ninja! But is he friend or foe…? The issue also introduces the Pink Ninjas and Gayzilla as the team travel to Japan in a story called 'Enter the Dragons'…
