Cancer Vixen Beauty Kit Launches

cancerI've got to say, when I started Bleeding Cool, I didn't expect to be writing pieces on new fashion lines from Bloomingdale's or new makeup lines from C.O. Bigelow. But there you go.

Cancer survivor Marisa Acocella Marchetto, creator of the soon-to-be-a-Cate-Blanchett-movie-vehicle autobiographical comic book Cancer Vixen comic book have lend the name and character to C.O. Bigelow for this kit to raise $250,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

With illustrations by Marchetto, the kit includes (and let's get this right) Lemon Cream Body Wash (1.7 oz.), Lemon Body Cream (1.7 oz.), Mentha Lip Tint in Pink Mint (0.5 oz.), Mentha Foot Tingling Foot Cream (2 oz.), and Dr. Hiosous Quince Hand Lotion (2 oz.).

The team up does seem a little incongrous, but hell, Cancer Vixen always was. And this is money for a damn fine cause. Orders can be made here.
